24:6. וַיְהִי אַחֲרֵי־כֵן וַיַּךְ לֵב־דָּוִד אֹתוֹ עַל אֲשֶׁר כָּרַת אֶת־כָּנָף אֲשֶׁר לְשָׁאוּל ׃ ס

24:6. ו ויאמר לאנשיו חלילה לי מיהוה אם אעשה את הדבר הזה לאדני למשיח יהוה--לשלח ידי בו  כי משיח יהוה הוא

24:6. וַיֹּאמֶר לַאֲנָשָׁיו חָלִילָה לִּי מֵיהוָה אִם־אֶעֱשֶׂה אֶת־הַדָּבָר הַזֶּה לַאדֹנִי לִמְשִׁיחַ יְהוָה לִשְׁלֹחַ יָדִי בֹּו כִּי־מְשִׁיחַ יְהוָה הוּא׃

24:6. ‏וַיֹּ֨אמֶר לַאֲנָשָׁ֜יו חָלִ֧ילָה לִּ֣י מֵֽיהוָ֗ה אִם־אֶעֱשֶׂה֩ אֶת־הַדָּבָ֨ר הַזֶּ֤ה לַֽאדֹנִי֙ לִמְשִׁ֣יחַ יְהוָ֔ה לִשְׁלֹ֥חַ יָדִ֖י בּ֑וֹ כִּֽי־מְשִׁ֥יחַ יְהוָ֖ה הֽוּא׃

24:6. He said to his men, "May the LORD keep me far away from doing such a thing to my lord, who is the LORD's chosen one, by extending my hand against him. After all, he is the LORD's chosen one."

24:6. "The LORD knows I shouldn't have done that to my lord the king," he said to his men. "The LORD forbid that I should do this to my lord the king and attack the LORD's anointed one, for the LORD himself has chosen him."

24:6. And he said unto his men, Jehovah forbid that I should do this thing unto my lord, Jehovahs anointed, to put forth my hand against him, seeing he is Jehovahs anointed.

24:6. He said to his men, "The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORD's anointed, to put out my hand against him, seeing he is the LORD's anointed."

24:6. And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD’S anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.

24:6. He said to his men, "The LORD forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, the LORDS anointed, to put forth my hand against him, seeing he is the LORDS anointed."

24:6. And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my lord, the LORD-S anointed, to put forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the LORD-S anointed.

24:6. and he saith to his men, `Far be it from me, by Jehovah; I do not do this thing to my lord -- to the anointed of Jehovah -- to put forth my hand against him, for the anointed of Jehovah he [is].`

24:6. He said to his men, "I pray the Lord never lets me do anything like that to my master again. I must not do anything against Saul, because he is the Lord's chosen king. "

24:6. He said to his men, Yahweh forbid that I should do this thing to my lord, Yahweh\'s anointed, to put forth my hand against him, seeing he is Yahweh\'s anointed.

24:6.
